Hizb ut-Tahrir Seminar Addresses Financial Crisis, Failure of Capitalism and Presents Islamic Economic Vision
The spectacular collapse of Western banks such as Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch, the unprecendented $700 billion dollar bailout of the American financial system, and similar actions across Europe have led people to question the fundamentals of the Western Capitalist system.
Amid weakening confidence in the system, the rising spectre of a deep recession, and increasing unemployment, many thinkers, journalists and economists have questioned whether Capitalism still works. Hizb ut-Tahrir will present its views about the fundamental causes of these problems, and will present the Islamic solution which will bring stability and prosperity to the Muslim world and will act as a benchmark for the rest of the world.

May Allah(swt) give all success to all such events which bring humanity out of darkness of inherent greed in capitalism to the Allah’s ultimate & total light in Islam.
Its Just fantastic to see that everything related to human problems has a solution in Islam. This brings confidence in Islam more than ever before.
Why those who have knowledge of Islam and say that they know, in fact don’t know or may be they hide it so that the Ummah may not get destabilised from the deep rooted system of capitalism. As any such unstable condition will be the first sign of change for the best and the process of change requires efforts to challenge & exert against the existing and those involved face the consequences.
ISLAM IS A SOLUTION TO EVERY HUMAN PROBLEM & THE WORLD IS MADE TO SEE AT IT AS A SOURCE OF EVERY PROBLEM.

Thank you for actually bringing clarity to the issue which is now affecting the entire world. I agree with the major surgical changes needed to western finance. We need a different model one not based on greed and profit, but on real business and trade with honesty. Lets start with the currency and financial contracts. Khalifat will be a a success in Economics if we can unify the Muslim govt around this new thinking.
